How do I install an SSL certificate?+
Hosting plans: free DV SSL is auto-installed and auto-renewed for any domain pointed at your hosting. For paid certificates: dashboard → “My Products → SSL” → “Set up” — we handle the CSR, install, and verification. Or use our SSL Setup Service for installs on third-party hosts (1, 5, 10, or 25 sites).
How do I add a Wildcard SSL?+
Wildcards cover unlimited subdomains under one certificate (
*.yourdomain.com). From the SSL page, choose DV Wildcard or OV Wildcard. After purchase, install via dashboard or call us to install for you. Note: wildcards don’t cover the root domain (yourdomain.com) and the apex — most certs include both.My site is showing ‘not secure’ — how do I fix it?+

If our security scanner flags your site: (1) Take the site offline temporarily (cPanel → Site Maintenance). (2) Restore from a clean backup (last known good). (3) Run “Website Security” scan and request automatic removal. (4) Update WordPress core, all plugins/themes, and any leaked passwords. (5) Re-enable the site. How do I restore from a backup?+
From cPanel → “Backups” you can restore individual files, your home directory, or specific databases. For full-site restore: dashboard → hosting tile → “Backups” → pick a date → “Restore”. A 30-day restore window is included on all plans. For longer retention, add a Website Backup plan (5/25/50 GB).
