How do I register a new domain?+
Use the search box on the domains page. Type the name you want; we check availability across 500+ extensions. If it’s free, click “Add to cart”. Most TLDs include free WHOIS privacy and free DNS management.
How do I transfer a domain to ixitech?+
Three steps at your current registrar: (1) Unlock the domain, (2) request the EPP/auth code, (3) confirm the admin email. Then start a transfer from the domains page — paste the auth code, pay the transfer fee (which extends your registration by 1 year). Most TLDs complete in 5–7 days.
How do I manage DNS records?+
From your account dashboard → “My Products → Domains” → click your domain → “DNS” tab. You can add A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and SRV records. Changes propagate globally in 5–60 minutes. If you’re connecting to ixitech hosting or email, we provide one-click DNS presets.
How do I add WHOIS privacy?+
Many TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .co, .io) include free WHOIS privacy automatically. For TLDs that don’t (some country-code TLDs), you can add Domain Privacy + Protection from your domain dashboard for a small annual fee. The service masks your name, address, email, and phone from public WHOIS lookups.
Why is my domain not connecting to my site?+
Most often it’s a DNS propagation delay (wait up to 60 min) or the wrong A/CNAME target. Check that the A record points to your hosting IP (find it in cPanel → “General Information”), and that the CNAME for www points back to the root. If you’re stuck, run
dig yourdomain.com or call us.How do I cancel auto-renew?+
Domains: dashboard → “Domains” → select domain → “Settings” → toggle Auto-Renew. Domain registrations are non-refundable per ICANN policy, but you can let them expire by turning off auto-renew. We send renewal reminder emails 60, 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry.
